RILE Lightweight Design GmbH starts its production on a production area of more than 1.400 m².

2017

Continuous new investments in new machines/equipment as well as expansion of the workforce, establishment and development of new customer groups from a wide range of industries. 

Machine investments e.g. DMG HSC 105 - machine tool for milling molds as well as machine trimming of composite components

2018

Installation of a new autoclave (Ø 1500mm x 3000mm), a CNC cutter, a Faro measuring arm and a vacuum membrane press

Setting up of a workstation for model processing (block materials made of ureol and epoxy resin).

State-of-the-art extraction tables and equipment for dust-free work (environment and working conditions are respected).
Acquisition of a 5-axis milling machine (4800mm x 1800mm x 1200mm) with extraction - suitable for CFRP component trimming but also for large models and direct moulds.

2019

Start of additive manufacturing
We are entering a new form of manufacturing with a 3D printer for thermoplastics:
Components are printed for the particularly demanding industries such as medical, aerospace, research & development, automotive, defense.

2020

Start of metal printing.
Production of parts using an SLM 280 3D metal printer, including heat treatment in an inert protective atmosphere in a Nabertherm furnace.

Construction of a climate-controlled cooling cell for storing the Prepreg batches.

 

2021

Installation of the new autoclave Ø 2500 mm and length 5000 mm
